We at the office are all loving this mixed-media artwork by Singaporean artist, Izziyana Suhaimi. Izziyana is not only an ultra talented illustrator with an interest in fashion, she's also a master embroiderer -- her work often mixes these two media to create something thoroughly fresh and original. The fashion world has recently started a mad love affair with embroidery, as the Fall/Winter 2012 season was filled with ethnic influences and inspirations. Well, the fashion world has also started a mad love affair with Izziyana's embroidered artwork; she's already earned a shout-out on Frankie's website, been commissioned by Nylon Singapore to create a cover, and been featured on one of our favourite fashion and lifestyle blogs, Because I'm Addicted.
