Electric sekki presents in Hong kong
London Show Rooms
Peter Pilotto returns this month for the British Fashion Council's London Show Rooms Hong Kong 2012. After cementing their rockstar status in Hong Kong last year, Christopher De Vos and Peter Pilotto are bringing their stellar Spring 2013 to Asia once again. In a season that's chalking up to be full of neutral colours, blank canvasses and simple tailoring, Peter Pilotto are sticking to their guns and continuing to produce their signature kaleidoscopic prints and intricate textures. But the boys have stepped it up a notch this season, no longer relying on fluid drapery or liquid fabrics, but instead introducing knitwear, beading and sharp tailoring into their designs. Their Spring 2013 collection had a decadent tribal quality about it, mixed in with their figure flattering "X Dress" shape and gorgeous pencil skirts. The collection has already been seen on self-professed "fashion maniac" Vogue Nippon Editor Anna Dello Russo, and we can't wait to see Asia's fashion editors' response to the collection when they see it in person here in Hong Kong next week.
