Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to all of our lovely friends in Asia! The moon will be full tonight as families gather around the dinner table to enjoy a feast together. We will celebrate the evening with traditional mooncakes and perhaps a stroll through the park to see the lanterns. For those of you who are unaware of what the Mid-Autumn Festival is, it is traditionally the time of year when Chinese farmers would celebrate the autumn harvest, give thanks for what was hopefully a plentiful season and pray for another successful harvest to come again. It is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month on the Chinese calendar, always during a full moon. For those of you celebrating, we hope that you have a wonderful time with your families this evening and stuff yourself silly with mooncakes!
