The Electric sekki team was happy to be invited to
attend New Zealand Fashion Week in Auckland. Now in its 13th year,
the impact and influence of the week-long event is greatly increasing each year
to showcase the creativity and innovation of local New Zealand designers. The Electric sekki team attended over 16 shows and we were happy to see how each of the participating designers skillfully
injected New Zealand’s laidback culture and sensibility into their collections.
We saw lots of layering and an updated take on matching and clashing different
prints and designs. Between the sun, the rain, the wind, and the cold,
outfit choices were on everyone’s minds. Still, not all of us bent to the weather
– there were plenty of show-goers that carried on as usual in bare legs, all in
the name of fashion! From the Viaduct Harbour Venue to Ponsonby Road and every fashion venue in between, we captured the most stylish attendees at New Zealand Fashion Week. Check out our favourite street style snaps of the week below!
Lovely to meet the four guys from Four Eyes--their daily outfits were an inspiration to us all!
Our very own, Hong Kong based fashion
blogger, Cindy Ko of Cindiddy was also in town for NZFW. We had
a blast catching up with her!
