london show rooms: william richard green

Electric sekki presents in Hong kong
London Show Rooms

Polkadots for men.  Three words you don't hear together that often, but ones that pretty much always rule William Richard Green's collections.  Having grown up on an English farm, you probably wouldn't expect a collection like this to come from Mr. Green, but his education at Central Saint Martin's, his training on Saville Row and his experience at wearable art label David David have offered him a wide range of skills and inspirations.  So what's with the polkadots?  They've become a house signature; the way Green mixes them with utilitarian, masculine pieces is a refreshingly modern juxtaposition.  Another one of his trademarks is what Green calls the "boiler suit", which was shown for Spring 2013 in grey marle with combat-style pockets.  This graphic collection is one that's sure to look fantastic in Hong Kong at The British Fashion Council's London Show Rooms next week!
