One of the things I love most about London-based, unassumingly-cool brand HORACE is that their pieces can so easily move from dark, grungy leather to bright, cheerful prints. The two don't always go hand-in-hand, but Adam, Emma and Phillip - the trio behind the brand - make it work with an 80's influence that brings the pieces together. Take the two diptychs below for example: the first is all dark dirty-chic and echos a world on the verge of apocalypse, whereas the second is metallic, bright and colourful. Yet you can still see the pieces from the top easily being worn with those in the bottom. I love this juxtaposed almost split-personality behind the brand. There's always a playful element of surprise.
