The playful quality of Zanerobe's menswear designs are perhaps best highlighted by the story by which the brand came into being. In fact, it all started with a bet over a couple of beers. Co-founders Jonathan Yeo and Leith Testoni were having a drink together when they spotted a man in what they described as a "hideous striped shirt"; Jonathan bet Leith that he couldn't design a better shirt than the "hideous" one they had just seen. And, the rest is history! That bet ended up spawning a line of 6-8 shirts, which the boys ended up selling in select stores in Sydney. Since then, the label has expanded beyond just shirting into pants, jackets, knitwear and even swimwear, and is sold at top-tier retailers internationally. And now, finally, they are the latest edition to the Electric sekki family!
