ksubi: four ways

If you haven't heard of the Man Repeller we'd probably say that's a crime.  Leandra Medine, a.k.a. the Man Repeller, has been teaching legions of women all over the world to forget about 'dressing for men' and, instead, remember to have fun with what you wear.  Her personal style blog is a delectable treat, full of trend how-to's, fashion faux-pas and styling tips, speckled with a very healthy dose of humour.  Our favourite posts are the ones where she takes a basic item and shows her readers how they can wear it in a whole range of very different styles.  Recently, she took her most beloved pair of ksubi denim cut-offs and styled them in four different ways, proving that no matter how inappropriate your mother may say they are, denim cut-offs truly are a staple item that every woman should have in their wardrobe.  Check out how the Man Repeller styled her ksubi's below.

1. Casual Chic - paired with a simple white top, classic aviators and a pair of sexy strappy sandals, you've got the perfect easy-yet-stylish outfit for the weekend.

2. Party Perfect - add texture with a sequined jacket, then inject a bit of fun with a printed clutch, statement necklace and a pair of colourfully embellished heels, and you're ready for a party-perfect evening.

3. Trendy Trappings - unleash your inner style icon by pairing your classic pair of denim shorts with in-your-face accessories such as cat-woman style sunglasses, a big round yellow purse, printed pointy heels and a big bib necklace.  Top it off with a striped blazer and you're ready to get street-style snapped by Tommy Ton.

4. Working Wardrobe - your ksubi's are even fit for work!  Add a blazer, some flat lace-up oxfords, a big briefcase and your most respectable-looking pair of optical glasses and you're ready to get working!

ksubi is available in Hong Kong at I.T and LAB CONCEPT.
