paris fashion week diary: arne eggers

As the Fashion Editor at Tatler Hong Kong, Arne Eggers has full access to all the most in-demand fashion shows and parties during fashion week.  On his recent trip to the Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2013 shows, Arne was kind enough to share with us a small photo diary from his travels.  Proceed to view with caution: chance are you will be very, very jealous with all that he was able to see and do in beautiful Paris, surrounded by beautiful clothes and accessories!

FEELS LIKE HEAVEN
Paris Fashion Week, night one. First stop is the Swarovski haute couture exhibition with a cocktail at the Hotel de Ville. Lots of champagne, little to eat, but all in a spectacular setting.

SILENCIO PLEASE
Same night, many drinks later. Together with Veronica Chou, Tina Leung and Ground Zero's Philip Chu I first head to Manish Arora's after party at the W and later to David Lynch's club Silencio for a Diesel party. We discover a cosy private room – perfect for an impromptu photo session.

BRANCHING OUT
After a grey start, Paris' skies have finally turned blue. After a 10am Costume National show we walk off our heavy heads with a stroll along the Seine, past immaculately trimmed trees. Feels a bit Raf Simons to us. At the time anyway.

THE WORLD AT OUR FEET
At Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld continues his quest for world domination next season. Little flags on a giant ball indicate Chanel's presence around the globe – when you see them flocking you know you're in Asia.

BOUDOIR CHIC
It's the last day of fashion week and very promptly at 10am (less seasoned editors will stand in front of closed door at this show) it's Louis Vuitton time. The show set up is a hotel corridor; the models emerge and disappear into "hotel rooms", dressed in slinky negliges and heavy overcoats.
