electric sekki in paris - around the city

We've already taken you behind-the-scenes of what it's like for our Contemporary and Luxury departments on their seasonal trips to Paris Fashion Week and though, of course, we are there for work, there is always a bit of time for play!  Paris is a beautiful city with so much to see and do; it's bursting with culture, art and scrumptious food.  Looking at these pictures makes us want to jet back over there immediately -- luckily for us, we'll be there again next season and the season after that, and the one after that, and so on.  But for those of you who have never been, here's a look into the Electric sekki's experience in Paris, through our lens.

No trip to Paris is complete without a trip to Laduree!

A tower of pastel macaroons.  Deliciously gorgeous.

Artful displays of candies and chocolates.

Oodles and oodles of tempting pastries everywhere you go!

Everywhere!

A gorgeous display of fresh fish at the markets.

Cheese!  A staple of French cuisine.

The beautiful dome at the Galleries Lafayette.

Giusi navigating the Paris Metro system.

Beautiful street corners in Le Marais.

Too quaint for words.

The inverted pyramid inside the Louvre.

Street art everywhere!

Street art at the Centre Pompidou.

A Persian market seller in an old Parisien building.

The Electric sekki team takes some time out after a long day's work.

Paris is full of little bookstores selling speciality items such as these detective and police magazines.

Vintage glossies, got to love them!
